Behind the name:

I really wanted a name that had both travel-feels and a personal meaning. I grew up in New York and left home at the age of 17. Then moved to Virginia with other family for a short while, decided to start my own family by having a little one, and quickly realized I needed my mom again. My son was born in August, and soon after leaving the hospital, my mom drove down to pick us up and we headed back North to New York. That was kind of the turning point for my life- when it started heading in a fulfilling direction. Becoming a mom, finding my soulmate, starting a business... being surrounded by love as a person, and able to capture love as a photographer. And now with this magazine, I can help showcase love captured by others.
