This is a shorter post than usual, but I just wanted to share a special portrait of one of our sugar gliders. This is Waffles. Waffles has a crazy personality, loves his sleep, loves soft things he can wrap himself up in, and long walks inside your hoodie! He also likes to pose for photos! So here he is, one of our “fuzzy loves” as we call them… <3

I was so happy when Monica messaged me about another session! Last time I had the pleasure of photographing Monica and her husband, Charles, for their anniversary; then we discussed photos of her handsome boys in the future, and I have been waiting to get their faces in front of my camera since! So I was pretty excited when she contacted me and said her sister, Gracie, was in town all the way from California for a week and she wanted to gift her a session with the boys! So here are some of my favorites of Aunt Gracie, Carlos, Diego, and Matias; and of course we pulled Monica in for some as well!

I. Love. This. Family.

Carmen was one of my first clients when I brought my business to North Carolina, and little Charlie was around 6 months old; that’s when they stole my heart! We did a Mommy&Me session and that was the start of getting to watch one of my favorite families grow! We later did Charlie’s first birthday cake smash- you may remember his fur pal, Henry, joined him for that! And then we did more sessions where we were joined by Charlie’s dad, Grant, including- a hot air balloon, a farm and dirt road, apples, and lots of fun! And let me tell you, they are all models! A family of models! And now, the gorgeous Carmen is pregnant and glowing, Grant is all smiles, and Charlie is two and ready to welcome his new little brother! Here are their maternity photos taken at the arboretum!
