I am feeling beyond blessed today! I was part of a traveling dress project, and with the time it took for the dress to get to everyone in our group at different places around the world, it's been a year in the making! I'm so excited to see it published!

“While I had the dress, I had the pleasure of putting two beautiful models in it. The first was Brooke Woodley. She and her love, Edward, traveled to a boat ramp in Castle Hayne, NC, and then a quiet access point at Wrightsville Beach, NC with me. These newly-weds twirled, kissed as the sun rose, and got completely soaked during their session! It was perfect. My second model was Stephanie Garner. She and her love, James, invited me to their home in Wilmington, NC for their session- and they live in an Argosy! I was instantly excited! This free-spirited couple cuddled, kissed, and showed me how deeply they love; and we were also joined by their sweet daughter, Olivia. Another perfect session.

This was my first time being part of a traveling dress group and it was so much fun! Not only is the group filled with amazing photographers but getting to photograph something that they all photographed was really special; it’s like I had a piece of everyone’s sessions in my sessions! I had such a wonderful and intimate session with these two at Wrightsville Beach! Amanda really wanted to do something special for her husband, Michael, so this was a surprise for him! Not only are these gorgeous people super in love and not afraid to show it, but their love radiates from the photos we captured! I enjoyed every second of editing this session and my heart is full!

Wilmington, NC Photographer | Greenfield Lake Family Session

The LaVigne family's session took place at Greenfield Lake in Downtown Wilmington, NC. I had such a wonderful time photographing this super sweet family; Cynthia and Simeon are so down to earth, and 6-month-old Sofia has a smile that just fills your love tank! I felt so at home with them that I didn't want our session to end, and I kinda kept them a little longer than they probably had planned for. Sophia fell asleep, the park lights came on, and I was loving every second of our time together! (I even got to hold sleeping Sophia in one arm while taking some couple portraits of Cynthia and Simeon with the other! I was definitely getting my baby fill! ) Besides getting all the smiling and interacting photos that I often get at sessions, we got some beautiful, quiet, full-of-love moments that just melt my heart! This session has meant so much to me, and was something I really needed to photograph. Thank you, LaVigne family. I can't wait to have another session with you. <3
